An-Nur Mosque

Built in 1980 under the Mosque Building Fund (MBF) scheme, the mosque is located in the north part of the island serving the religious needs of Muslims in the Marsiling and Woodlands area. Known as the mosque with the blue minaret, it is more than just a landmark in the area. The mosque has created a name for its outreach programme and grassroots activities through its Qaryah (outreach) initiatives and is also one of the few mosques in Singapore which provides strong support for the kidney donation campaign. The mosque also offers madrasah and kindergarten classes for children living in the estate.
