Built under the Mosque Building Fund (MBF) scheme and completed in 1989, the mosque stands out along Commonwealth Avenue West with its unique flat cuboid-like structure in cream and brown. It boasts a huge collection of Islamic literature and besides the usual madrasah and kindergarten classes, it also offers computer classes to both children and adults. The mosque can accommodate up to 3,000 worshippers and serves mainly the residents in Clementi and Holland.
