This old generation mosque which started as a village surau was built way back in 1902. Today, it retains much of its original architecture. Located in the Central part of the island, along Pasir Panjang Road, it has a capacity of 300 people. Today, the mosque serves workers from the nearby area such as Science Park, as well as students from National University of Singapore (NUS) located behind the mosque. Activities are confined to daily and Friday prayers with occasional religious lectures.
