Al-Istighfar Mosque

Located in Pasir Ris new town, the mosque was officially opened in 2000 and is the 19th to be built under Mosque Building Fund (MBF) scheme. It can be recognised by its outstanding blue dome – designed based on the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey – and modern Islamic architecture. The mosque offers madrasah and kindergarten classes and is a hive of activities during the evening when religious classes open its doors to Muslims living nearby.
