The mosque was then built sometime between 1890 to 1898, at the present location. Located along one of Singapore’s busiest main roads in the Central district, the mosque is a place for devotion of shoppers across the road at Mustafa Centre as well as shopkeepers and office workers nearby. The mosque is closed for renovation and is expected to be opened by end of 2019.
