Al-Mukminin Mosque
Completed in 1987, the mosque was built under the Mosque Building Fund (MBF) scheme and served the residents living in the Jurong East and Toh Guan estates. The roof of the mosque has a close resemblance to that of the National Mosque of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.
In 2006, the mosque completed a major upgrading which saw it being converted from a 2-storey building to a 4-storey building with basement. The mosque now offers a range of Islamic learning as well as social development programmes, serving the needs of the residents living nearby.
